My name is Eva Alvarez; I was born in California in 1991 and was raised in New Jersey for most of my life. I always grew up with art but never thought I would have taken a career path with it, let alone street photography. I realized at the end of my freshman year of college that photography is what I wanted to do because I love traveling and meeting new people on the road.

I am currently attending Drew University as a Art major with a double minor in Psychology and Photography. Ideally, I want to do something in photography whether it is traveling or possibly teaching. I also work within the university such as Drew’s newspaper, The Acorn as well as working in Drew’s sport department as a photographer capturing sporting events on campus. When I am not working on campus, I work as a Sales Associate in Sears Portrait Studio to gain customer service experience. Hopefully, with enough hard work, I would get a car and make a decent salary in my life.
